Sanctuary Housing are holding an Open Day Eventin conjunction with Property Pool Plus, to show case their new build 1 and 2 bedroom apartments at Darcy Court, Wharf Street, Port Sunlight.  


The open day event details are as follows:

The apartments include a mixture of 1 and 2 bedroom units including ground, first and second floor apartments, with lift access to all floors.  All apartments are completed to a high specification with individual apartment specifications differing slightly, for example some units have level access showers, others have step in showers.  The building has a number of unallocated resident parking spaces available, with excellent public transport links close by.


The apartments will be open to applications via the Property Pool plus Scheme to households where the main or joint applicant is aged 55+.  The minimum age for other members of the household will be 18.


Affordable rents will be between £115 and £120 per week including a service charge.

If you are a tenant of one of the Property Pool Plus partner Housing Associations you may wish to consider Mutual Exchange as a means to move to alternative accommodation.  Find out more here.



Housing Benefit 

If you are offered a tenancy via the Property Pool Plus Scheme you will be responsible for paying rent as detailed in the property advert.  If you are on a low income you may be eligible for Housing Benefit to assist you with this.  You can use the on-line benefit calculator to give you an estimate as to any entitlement and this should help you to decide whether a particular property would be affordable to you.
